Bill Cosby and Eddie Murphy occupy the top four positions in this week's Google Insights table of the top ten fastest rising searches over the past seven days, following rumors of the stars' demise.
Rumors of the death of Bill Cosby began after an 'R.I.P' page dedicated to the veteran actor popped up on Facebook and then instantly spread to Twitter, prompting searches by many users unsure as to the truth behind the rumors.
Actor and comedian Eddie Murphy was also falsely reported dead after an alleged snowboarding accident on Tuesday; however, despite some Twitter users' insistence, Eddie Murphy is still very much alive.
Also causing a buzz on Google this week was Hurricane Isaac, which battered Louisiana and surrounding areas last week, leaving many residents still without power.
