Google+ trends: Olympic closing ceremony, iPhone

On Monday, August 13, Google+ users are buzzing about Sunday's Olympic closing ceremony and about leaked photos allegedly showing the motherboard of Apple's highly anticipated next-gen iPhone.

Sunday's closing ceremony for the 2012 London Olympic Games featured performances from iconic British bands and artists such as the Spice Girls, Beady Eye, Take That and The Who among others and, as is traditional, a short performance from the next host city -- Rio de Janerio.

The photos originally appeared on Chinese forum Weiphone and have since been reported on by several specialist Apple and tech blogs including 9to5mac and Gizbot.
